German Lotto 6aus49 is Germany’s national lottery, drawn every Wednesday and Saturday. Six Winning Numbers are drawn from 1–49, together with one Superzahl from a separate set of digits from 0–9.
How It Works
Each standard German Lotto 6aus49 game consists of six numbers selected from 1–49. Six Winning Numbers are drawn from this set, together with one Superzahl from 0–9. Prizes are awarded across nine prize tiers according to how many Winning Numbers are matched and, for certain prize tiers, whether the Superzahl is also matched. Matching all six Winning Numbers plus the Superzahl wins or shares the jackpot.
Jackpot & Rollover
German Lotto 6aus49 is a jackpotting lottery with a maximum jackpot of €50 million. If there is no Prize Tier 1 winner, the jackpot rolls over to the following draw and continues to grow until the €50 million maximum is reached. Once the maximum is reached, the jackpot remains at €50 million until one or more entries match all six Winning Numbers plus the Superzahl. If more than one entry wins Prize Tier 1, the available jackpot is shared between the winning entries.
