About UK Lotto
UK Lotto is the flagship game of the UK National Lottery and is played every Wednesday and Saturday. Each draw features two rounds, with six Winning Numbers and one Bonus Ball drawn from 1–59 in each round. Every Lotto line is automatically entered into both rounds.
How It Works
Each standard UK Lotto play consists of six numbers selected from 1–59. Every Wednesday and Saturday draw features two separate rounds, and the same line is entered into both rounds. In each round, six Winning Numbers and one Bonus Ball are drawn. There are six prize tiers according to how many Winning Numbers are matched and whether the Bonus Ball is also matched. Matching all six Winning Numbers in either round wins or shares the jackpot.
Jackpot & Rollover
UK Lotto is a jackpotting lottery with a starting jackpot of £2 million. Every Wednesday and Saturday draw features two rounds, and the jackpot fund is shared between all entries matching all six Winning Numbers across either round. If nobody matches all six numbers in either round, the jackpot rolls over to the next draw. It may roll over five times before a Must Be Won draw takes place on the sixth. If there is no Match 6 winner in either round of a Must Be Won draw, the jackpot is distributed among winners in the lower prize tiers according to the official prize-allocation rules.
