About Australia Powerball
Australia Powerball is a national jackpot lottery drawn every Thursday. Seven winning numbers are drawn from 35, followed by one Powerball from a separate set of 20 numbers.
How It Works
Each standard game consists of seven numbers selected from 1–35 and one Powerball selected from 1–20. To win Prize Tier 1, all seven winning numbers and the Powerball must be matched in a single game. Powerball has nine prize tiers, with lower-tier prizes available for matching fewer numbers.
Jackpot & Rollover
Australia Powerball is a jackpotting lottery. If there is no Prize Tier 1 winner in a draw, the top prize rolls over and increases for the following draw. When Prize Tier 1 is won, the available Prize Tier 1 prize pool is shared between all winning entries in that tier. If there is only one winning entry, that entry receives the entire Prize Tier 1 prize pool.
